In this post I am going to write about my favorite drinks and food after the gym. I think it’s really important, so let’s begin!
#1 Water
Everyone should drink water as much as they can every day, it’s so important, especially when you workout. Water is the
healthiest drink and that’s why it is my favorite after I go hard at the gym!
#2 Protein shake
The first time I had a protein shake was probably about 2 months ago. I was always really skeptical about this so I never tried it before, but once my boyfriend got it, I thought “why not” and tried it to see for myself if I’ll like it. & I did like it, so I started drinking it too and guess what, it works as well! The one I had was 100% Whey Protein with chocolate flavor, I totally recommend it.
#3 Fit tea
I am absolutely obsessed with fit tea, I’ve had so many different ones and I loved every single one of them! If you’re a tea lover you should definitely add it up to your workout routine. The one I have right now is 4x Super Slim tea and it has fruity flavor, I love it and I recommend!
Fruit smoothies are one of the healthiest but also the most delicious drinks. No matter if its a strawberry smoothie or kiwi smoothie, they’re all really good so I can’t even choose one! You’ll feel so fresh when you drink it after an exhausting workout so don’t hesitate.
#5 Eggs
Overeasy eggs are my favorite, I could eat it every day. The best way I like it done is with tosts and natural yoghurt with tomates (which I will write about below). Very healthy and light meal.
#6 Fruits
Every possible fruit that you can think of is good for your health & your body. I’d recommend eating it as a second breakfast or of course, after workout. If you’re hungry before lunch or dinner, don’t eat anything big or that has many calories because then after that you eat lunch or dinner & gain weight, so just go with something light like a banana or an apple.
#7 Cereal
My absolute favorite are Corn Flakes by Nestle. Gluten free but still tasty & definitely healthy. If you’re about to have cereal and you have two options in your house – Corn Flakes or Nesquik, choose the first one if you’re trying to be healthy.
#8 Cesar Salad
I’m a huge fan of salads & this one is one of my favorites. It’s healthy, tasty & honestly can make you full or satisfied for awhile! The salad I also love & you may try, is a salad with tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese and a sos you choose by yourself, it tastes good with every, trust me.
#9 Natural Yogurt With Tomato
This is something I eat very often as my breakfast. It’s super good, healthy & won’t get you gain weight at all. The way I make it is, I cut tomato, put it in a little bow, add natural yogurt, pepper, salt & mix it all together. You just have to try it and you won’t regret!
#10 Rice
I could eat rice every day, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am obsessed with Chinese food so whenever I get a chance to make it for myself or go to a Chinese restaurant, I go for it. Rice has no calories, you can eat it as much as you want & with whatever you want. Of course, this post is about a post-workout meals and drinks, so for this one I’d recommend rice with chicken, sweet&sour sauce + spinach on the side.
& That is it for today’s post, hope you liked it and will visit my blog for more! Also leave comments with suggestions on what type of posts you would like to see in here 🙂
